Supreme Court decision regarding the matter of Yick Wo v Hopkins as read by anyusmoon1. This decision is interesting for a number of reasons but I highlight the areas that support a frequently repeated phrase I use: 'We are a country of laws not men. Also the concept of property rights- and the supreme court recognizing that the pursuit of 'happiness', as phrased in the Constitution, is about protecting your possessions/property and your right to that protection. NOT THE RIGHT TO GAIN PROPERTY BECAUSE YOU DON'T POSSESS, IT BUT DESIRE IT. If you don't own property, things, goods or services the 14th amendment doesn't give nor entitle you to such. Now, whether this case touches on or exposes theory that the 14th amendment citizen is somehow different than natural born sovereign I don't know but might be an additional side conversation for those studied on that matter. I still find the beauty in the language of sovereignty and separation of man and government. That man is the powerhouse of any country and government is the servant. Thank you to ifreemantoo for bringing this case to my attention.
