Here are 2 rounds out of a 5 round conditioning circuit I completed a few days ago. This workout is based on the "Caveman Training" formulated by the Athletic Performance Inc. (API). The session consisted of 5 rounds lasting 5 min each with 1 min rest in between rounds. As you may know, API is known for training the elite of UFC and other MMA fighters. Like warriors of old, these guys are in of the best physical shape and condition. Whether its a fire, an opponent, or ourselves, we all have to fight battles from time to time. Not only does this type of training keep me conditioned for the job, it is also therapeutic. Take your aggression out on the tire w/ a sledge and you'll see what I am talking about. ROUND 1: 1min Tire Flips 1min Chop Station 1min Tire Pulls 1min Tire Flips 1min Chop Station ROUND 2: AMRAP In 5 Min Of: Renegade Man Makers w/ a Squat x 1 How To Use The 5Rds of 5Min. 1) For Extreme Fatloss- A clean diet and 3x per week 2) As A Supplement to Your Existing Strength Routine - 1-2 x per week 3) The tendency to over train is there so be smart about it.
