* WATCH OUT FOR THE PATHETIC MORRON THATS COPPIED MY ACCOUNT AND CALLED IT MILLIESOS - JOINED ON THE 5TH OF SEPTEMBER HOW PATHETIC!* YES HIS RUG IS A BIT TO SMALL BUT THATS NOT WHY HES BUCKING, HES JUST HAVING FUN. You cant pussy foot around with a horse as strong as him, he needs to learn respect under saddle just like he has learnt respect for me on the ground. I used to hate draw reins and side reins and I used to think it was a quick way to fix a problem that draw reins would make worse. After reading into it for many months and having Lewi bolting none stop for no reason i thought i would give them ago. I decided it would be best bareback as he can feel my body and my hand and leg aids, so i put his sursingle on and off we went. IN A PLASTIC HAPPY MOUTH GAG DRAWR REINS ON THE TOP MY REINS ON THE MIDDLE. I only do it for 10 minutes in all with canters and trots. He has a habit of putting his head up and bolting off. This was his first time in the and what you have to remember is he is a welsh cob so they do have a shorter neck and more of a arch to there collected work so this may look like he's over bent but that's just the way a welsh cob would carry its self, if you look at the last clips you will see he has not draw reins on but still keeps his head in that out line. I can read lewi like a book, i know when he needs phrasing for his good and punishing for his bad, that is what he responds best to. He is a strong minded and very stubborn young pony and at 4 years old he now needs to learn respect before he gets bigger and stronger. He is a welsh cob so unlike a fine warmblood he can take a good tuffning up and it wont bother him. Like i said i have looked into draw reins i don't encourage this high leave of training unless you know how to read your horse and know when to say GOOD BOY. A horse like him acts before he thinks and ends up jumping of cliffs of running into moving cars, he needs to learn what my legs mean and how to be a ridden horse.
