Part 1 of 5. High-quality version of this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3chxNg1m4D8&fmt=18 Audio only. Two years after his paper-thin case against Clay Shaw fell apart in a court of law (with a Louisiana jury declaring Shaw "Not Guilty" of a charge of conspiracy to murder President John F. Kennedy in 1963), New Orleans District Attorney Jim Garrison made this 1971 guest appearance on "The Steve Allen Show". Kook Garrison, as usual, speculates and theorizes about how a bunch of unnamed mystery killers murdered JFK in Dallas. But, thankfully, another of Steve Allen's guests that night in 1971 was a future U.S. Congressman, Robert K. Dornan. And Dornan, to his immense credit, had a good deal of common sense when it came to the subject of the JFK assassination; and Mr. Dornan pretty much took control of the show after Kook Garrison spouted his usual nonsense about the ridiculous multi-gun conspiracy that Garrison thinks was afoot in Dallas' Dealey Plaza on November 22, 1963. Dornan is a breath of fresh air during this 5-part YouTube series, serving as much-needed balance to counter Garrison's pro-conspiracy hogwash, making this episode of "The Steve Allen Show" an interesting one indeed. DVP FOOTNOTE --- In my opinion, it's rather incredible that Jim Garrison would have the gall and massive gonads to actually still be willing to show his face on national television two years after his worthless and non-existent case against Clay Shaw fell apart in front of his very eyes (and essentially in front of the eyes of the whole nation as well) in a New Orleans courtroom in early 1969. But even after that humiliating defeat at the Shaw trial, King-Kook Garrison still has the nerve to go on TV in 1971 and continue to try and peddle his worthless nonsense about how a New Orleans "plot" resulted in the death of President Kennedy. Talk about balls. Garrison apparently possessed a good-sized set of family jewels in order to continue to foist his "David Ferrie" type assassination plot on the American public in 1971. Incredible.
