[Notes:MEIER WALKING] SHARON MEIER WAS WALKING HER TWO POODLES NEAR HER NORFOLK, VIRGINIA APARTMENT WHEN THE FOX CHARGED AT THE DOGS. "next thing I know, my little one was screaming and I saw this fox attacking." [Notes:MEIER WALKING, TALKING TO REPORTER]MEIER'S THIRD DOG, A NEWFOUNDLAND, STARTED BARKING AND DISTRACTED THE FOX. THAT GAVE MEIER AND THE POODLES JUST ENOUGH TIME TO GET AWAY. THE DOG OWNER CALLED 9-1-1 AND EVENTUALLY WENT BACK OUTSIDE WHEN SHE THOUGHT THE FOX WAS GONE."We walked out front of the building so he could go to the bathroom and the fox attacked him out there. And he had it down. He got it down on it's back. He had it by the neck. And one of the neighbors come out and beat off the fox with a pillow."
