Hello Everyone! In this video, I show an easy way to blast through the game as Nero with a high score rating (A to SSS). While the control setup may be customized to your liking, the basic gist of this "trick" is to be able to charge the Blue Rose (Nero's gun) while melee attacking. My control setup is as follows: L1: Devil Trigger L2: Exceed O: Devil Bringer Triangle: Melee attack Square: Taunt X: Jump R1: Lock-on R2: Gun attack As shown in the video, your gun will start to spark after holding down the button for a couple of seconds up until it stays at a red colour (max charge). With this setup (or one similar), you can use melee attacks/lock-on/devil bringer while charging. A fully charged gun attack will blast the enemy with an explosion a little bit after getting hit the first time. I believe you have to upgrade your gun to be able to charge it to the maxmium limit. This "trick" works the same way as the one in DMC 3: SE with Virgil. Playable Virgil was able to shoot out his phantom swords while attacking. When you Devil Trigger and shoot a max charge shot, you'll get the same effects as a regular charge shot, but you'll also get a couple phantom swords/daggers shot at the enemies as well for extra damage. The reason why it seemed like I could remain in a DT state indefinitely was due to unlocking Super Nero. Don't mind my crappy skills (its been more than a year since I last played this game).
