Nos dias 18 e 28 de cada mês é montado um mercado de pulgas ao redor do templo que atrai centenas de pessoas. Isso para não falar de mais uma tentação para o bolso: os shoppings cobertos de Osu. Trata-se de um conglomerado de lojas que vendem desde antiguidades até móveis usados e eletro-eletrônicos, num clima amistoso e com preços bastante convidativos. Depois de tanta caminhada, o melhor a fazer é seguir em direção ao ponto turístico mais famoso de Nagoya. Saindo da estação Kamimaezu, o visitante chega em Shiyakusho. A área mais imponente da cidade abriga o Castelo de Nagoya. Construído sob as ordens do senhor feudal Tokugawa Ieyasu, o castelo ficou pronto em 1612 e, ao seu redor, cresceu a cidade de Na-goya. A marca registrada do castelo é a dupla de kinshachi (gol-finhos dourados), fincada no topo de sua torre principal. The Osu Kannon Temple located in central Nagoya is a classic Japanese pagoda style Buddhist temple that is a popular tourist spot. Osu Kannon first was established in 1612 but the current temple is a replica built in the 1970's. Osu Kannon sits to the west of the area known as Osu which has become a popular shopping district. The area is more of a traditional Japanese shopping experience as opposed to the sprawling underground mall of nearby Naka Ku. Osu is the place to go if you are after electronics with many of the shops along Akamon Street and in and around the Ameyoko Building specializing in everything from new and used gadgets to electronic components, the area has become Nagoya's version of Tokyo's Akibahara. Like the Koshoji and Nittaiji temples, the Osu Kannon Temple is also home to a regular Flea Market that is held on the 18th and 28th of each month where goods ranging from antiques to home made foods are sold. Osu Kannon is a few blocks south of the Nagoya City Science Museum while two undercover shopping streets known as Banshoji and Niomon streets stretch out east from Osu Kannon to the Ameyoko Building. Osu Kannon temple sits next door to the Osu Kannon station of Tsurumai subway line, the area would be a good 30 min walk south east of Nagoya Station. 大須観音（おおすかんのん）は、愛知県名古屋市中区大須にある真言宗智山派の別格本山 。本尊は聖観音。寺号は詳しくは「北野山真福寺宝生院（ほうしょういん）」と称し、宗 教法人としての公称は「宝生院」だが、一般には大須観音の名で知られる。日本三大観音 の1つとも言われる観音霊場である。名古屋七福神の一である布袋像を安置する。寺内に 、『古事記』の最古写本をはじめとする貴重書を多数蔵する「真福寺文庫」がある。 元亨4年（1324年）に後醍醐天皇が大須郷（現岐阜県羽島市桑原町大須）に北野天満 宮を創建。元弘3年（1333年）に同社の別当寺として僧能信が創建した真福寺が当寺 の始まりである。 その後、慶長17年（1612年）に徳川家康の命令で犬山城主の成瀬正茂によって現在 地に移転、明治25年の大須の大火と第二次世界大戦の空襲による2度の焼失を被り、昭 和45年（1970年）に再建し、現在に至る。 大須の地名はこの大須観音の門前町が発祥の地である。
