Please use HD so you can actually see something besides pixels. This video will show you a technique I use to get to high levels without the use of any cheats or glitches. Note that this was only tested for 1 player and probably will not work for 2-4 players because there are more zombies. First, start on the left side by the Gewehr. Make your way along as usual until around level 4 or 5 then move the couch and buy the MP40. Camp in this area near the back window since a lot of them come from that way. Rack up some points until around level 7 or 8 and go turn the power on and try the random box. You are trying to get the Flamethrower and the Ray Gun if possible. The flamethrower will be your primary weapon for this technique because of all the weapons in the game, the flamethrower is the only one that does not succumb to the extra HP of the zombies as the levels increase. Even the ray gun around level 30 or so will start taking 2 or 3 shots to kill one. The ray gun is not essential but is the best backup weapon. Any decent weapon will work. Buy the Juggernog after you turn the power on and continue to try for the flamethrower. Once you have your flamethrower, you are pretty much set. The doors you open will also contribute to the way this technique works. You should open the next 2 doors past the power room to where the speed cola is but do not open the next door into the large room with the stairs. If you do, this will not be easy for you. Once you have these particular doors open, the zombies will come in a fashion that will allow you to level up quickly. If you like, buy some bouncing bettys too for insurance since you can backup into them and they will not hurt you. They will usually take out a zombie that is in your face. Your camping spot will be at the window by the electric barrier. When the round starts, they zombies will mainly come from the window and from the first doorway next to the electric switch. You should be ready to hit the switch when the first zombie is about to come through then concentrate on using the flamethrower on the zombies outside of the window. In the early levels, this will be a little difficult because they are not all running at full speed yet. Some will even continue to come after the barrier turns off. I usually try to leave 1 zombie alive outside of the window because in the later levels, the round will pretty much be over once the electric barrier wears off. There is a cap on the amount of zombies that will spawn past a certain level, I'd say around 25-30 is the max. Once you hit this cap, the zombies will usually come at you in the same pattern every round. You will notice in the video that I also ran up to the hole near the stairs and rebuilt about 4-5 parts only. This is to prevent them from jumping out when the round starts and having some come from that way before you hit the electric. If you use the electric when the round starts, it will wear off before they are all dead and it may cost you. This technique is all about timing. Making sure to board up the hole and have the electric barrier ready for the start of the next round. If you make a mistake and they die too quickly while the electric is still on, you may be in trouble. You can survive if you are careful though. Just start walking backwards down the hall and using your flamethrower and watching your back. You should be able to walk backwards all the way down stairs near the revive machine if necessary. I am not sure if opening that door has any effect on the way they spawn so I would advise against it. So there you have it. This was done on a PC with no cheats or glitches. Please try before you call me a cheater because I promise I did not cheat in any way. This technique works and I have gotten to level 50+ many times with it. My highest so far is level 90(edit: 149) and they managed to come in the window and kill me. This should work on Xbox and PS3 also. Remember, this is for solo only. I don't think it would work as well for more than 1 player because there will be more zombies. The electric barrier will not last long enough for 1 use per round. Please try and let me know how far you can get! I am "Nelwyn" if you would like to add me to friends and try this together.
