My first video of the newly completed roller coaster at Kings Island. Update 5/27/09: I rode this for the first time on Tuesday, May 26th. I must say it was a very fun ride. It was incredibly smooth and there was a lot of air time. The first drop is the freakiest right at the crest because you start seeing how steep it really is. Once descending the hill, it's long enough to the bottom that my body's friction adjusted to the fall. In other words, I grew comfortable to the descending speed before reaching the bottom. After that it was a series of enjoying huge dips and turns. May I suggest letting your feet float freely after the first hill instead of bracing them against the floor. You really get a good sense of weightlessness on Diamondback when doing that. Don't expect to get wet with the water track. You may get some mist from the back seats if the wind is going the right way. All in all, I give this ride an "A".
