A tribute to Elizabeth Taylor with 12 films: National Velvet (1944), Courage of Lassie (1946), Life With Father (1947), Father of the Bride (1950), Fathers Little Dividend (1951), A Place in the Sun (1951), Ivanhoe (1952), Elephant Walk (1954), Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (1958), Butterfield 8 (1960) and Cleopatra (1963). Haunting music by il maestro Ennio Morricone: Deborahs Theme (from Once Upon a Time in America) Return to Life (from Fateless). The vocals are Edda Dell'Orso for Deborah's Theme and Lisa Gerrard for Return to Life, two divas of wordless vocals for film soundtracks. I don't include her movie "The Girl Who Had Everything" but it seemed like such an appropriate title for her. After all, she is one of Hollywood's biggest legend, the last living legend of the studio era. I start the movie with smoking, drinking and the other vices (or fun depending on how you look at things) of living large, cumulating in Cleopatra. The second half with "Return to Life" switches gears to a more innocent time with a young Elizabeth including the long sunset scene from National Velvet. Elizabeth made two Lassie movies so fittingly, one has to be here. Most of the young glamorous dresses Elizabeth has were from Elephant Walk (yes, a little silly of a movie but if you like Elizabeth Taylor in her prime, that was it...after she gave birth to her first child). The girl who loves Deborah's Theme also contributed significantly to this video (several clips). It seemed appropriate since you also rated Elizabeth as #1 on the most beautiful actress list (lol, I think it's Claudia, but I'm biased). You know who you are! Thank you!!
