2009 NFL Week 9 Predictions: Games: Arizona Cardinals Vs Chicago Bears Washington Redskins Vs Atlanta Falcons Cincinnati Bengals Vs Baltimore Ravens Green Bay Packers Vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers Jacksonville Jaguars Vs Kansas City Chiefs Indianapolis Colts Vs Houston Texans New Orleans Saints Vs Carolina Panthers Detroit Lions Vs Seattle Seahawks Miami Dolphins Vs New England Patriots New York Giants Vs San Diego Chargers Tennessee Titans Vs San Francisco 49ers Dallas Cowboys Vs Philadelphia Eagles Denver Broncos Vs Pitsburgh Steelers Lock of the Week: Green Bay Packers Over The Tampa Bay Buccaneers The Buccaneers(0-7) Play host to the Packers(4-3) in week 9. The Buccaneers named their first round pick Josh Freeman their Starting QB in this game since Josh Johnson and Byron Leftwhich couldn't get it done. Last Week the Packers lost to the Vikings 38-26 as Minnesota Vikings and Former Green Bay Packers QB Brett Favre threw for 4 TD's against his former team whom he spent 16 Seasons with. The Packers have given up a total of 31 Sacks on the Season threw 7 Games. The Buccaneers have 11 Sacks on the season, tied for 29th in league with the Houston Texans. The Buccaneers Have struggled in just about every category this year. The Buccaneers allow 29 points per game which is 30th in the league. Green Bay averaging nearly 27 points a game will really blow up the Buccaneers Defense with possibly 40 points or more. Green Bay 9th in the legue in Pass Yard with 372 pass yards a game is playing a team that is 15th in the league in pass defense, giving up only 214 pass yards a game. Tampa Bay is allowing over 160 Yards on the ground per game while the Packers are averaging 114 rush yards per game. The Packers will manage to win this game and improve to 5-3. Upset Alert: Miami Dolphins over the New England Patriots The Dolphins are 3-1 in the division while the Patriots are 1-1. New England has scored a toal of 91 points in their last 2 games and have given up only 7 in their last 2. The Defense for the Patriots has really stepped up but now they will have to play Ronnie Brown and the Wildcat offense. Last Year in their first meeting, Miami Defeated the Patriots 38-13 when the Dolphins introduced their Wildcat offense to the league which led them to the Playoffs and an AFC East Championship. The Patriots allow 109 rush yards per game 15th in the league while the Dolphins are averaging 153 Rush yards per game which is 3rd in the league. In a Crucial Division game, the Pats must win this game to hold off Both Miami and New York in the Race to the AFC East. The Dolphins could pull of an upset but the Patriots get the Edge offensively. Expect Tom Brady to have a Great Game with over 300 Yard passing and 3 TD'S. Arizona Cardinals over the Chicago Bears Yes it may not seem like an upset but it really is. At this time of the year, Temperatures get really cold in Chicago. The Last time the Cardinals played a Eastern Opponent on the road in the Regular Season was the Jacksonville Jaguars which Arizona Won, but if you go back to 2008 when the Cardinals traveled to New England to take on the Patriots in the Freezing Cold weather and Snow in Late December of last year. The Final Score was 47-7 Patriots. The Cardinals lost last week to the Carolina Panthers and the Chicago Bears beat the Cleveland Browns. The Cardinals are averaging 22 points a game while the Bears allow 21 points a game. The 2 teams will be in a battle but in the end I Believe the Bears win and stay in the hunt for the NFC North.
