(hangs up the phone) ************** Angel: Ughh, I feel like Ive just landed in an episode of clueless Sharon: (rolls her eyes at the insult) Youll just never understand Nick Rodriguez Angel: you were on the phone with Nick Rodriguez? (shocked) Sharon: Yeah, and Angel: that guy is a complete airhead and not to mention Danas girlfriend Sharon: yeah, that Dana girl has a lot of issues, that why I set her straight Angel: what do you mean?.. you know what, forget it. I dont feel like being even more stressed out Sharon: then I guess you dont want me to give you this extra credit work (hands her a bunch of papers) your teacher gave you Angel: (sighs) Aww, Mr. Evans. I totally forgot about this (puts it down) I just wont do it, I have a B+ in his class, I have time to raise it right? Dont I? (Sharon sees Angel zones out fidgeting with her nails) Angel: completely hopeless Sharon: (looks up and changes he subject) well he totally adores you Angel: You know, It amazes me that after you act so stupid sometimes, you continue you life as if you have nothing to worry about Sharon: seriously (ignoring her comment), while I was on and off listening to him on the phone, he was saying all this stuff about how he thinks you so pretty and smart and really glad you broke up with some loser named Mark Angel: (secretly flattered. But the thought of Mark made her sad, but she kept her cool) Mark isnt a loser (started to tear) He was sweet, kind, and-- Sharon: (insensitive) after what I just heard about why he broke up with you, he seems like a loser. He broke up with you for some dumb schoo-- Angel: (angry) Look, can we just stop talking about him (changes the subject off of Mark) well, I hope while you were making a fool of me on the phone, you tried to figure out the riddle on that fortune Sharon: dont get you panty hose in a knot, I looked it up online, look (she takes out Sharons lab top and shows her the screen) Angel: so its some sort of puzzle? Sharon: I think its something we have to walk through it Angel: (look at her weirdly) a maze? Sharon: maybe Angel: I dont think its a maze (she reads the riddle in her head over and over) because its truth that you lack, then selfless love will change you back Sharon: I dont get it Angel: I think its saying that we have to learn to love someone else then we will change back Sharon: like were selfish or something? Angel: because I know and I was there when they wrote it Sharon: sarcastic much? (rolls her eyes) (thinks about the fortunes and tries to enforce it) (faking) Oh, I love you Sharon!!! (hugs her tight) Angel: (getting what shes doing) I love you too (hugs her back) (they hug each other for a few seconds) Sharon: feel any different? Angel: if you felt different you wouldnt have to ask? Wouldnt it just, happen? Sharon: true, (feels sad) we are never going to change back (leans on her head), awkwardly) Angel: (feeling awkwardly remorseful) dont be so doubtful (pushes her head off her shoulder)
