The Bob Sterling Band with Barry Miles in Somers Point, NJ kicks off the evening with this gem from Sterling's 2001 CD "Pier Pressure." The song, "Beautiful Light," is a Sterling original. As are all the tunes on Sterling's two Cd's. The footage is raw, and my apologies for the bad camera work, albeit briefly, at the start, and then when I got the all important shot of the ceiling lights. Without a doubt, hands down, one of the hottest new bands nobody ever heard of...with the exception of Mr. B, Barry Miles of course. Word has it, Miles heard Sterling and his band doing a small gig in Cape May, New Jersey, and liked what he heard enough to invite Sterling to play. The rest as they say is history. I highly recommend any clips with these two delivering the notes.
