Part 1 of 2 To all those people that can't make it to see Watmough Bay I've got a video for you! Just kick back in your chair, click "full Screen" Button and enjoy a walk to Watmough from your desktop. 33 years after I first saw Watmough Bay and I see hardly any change. There use to be so many people getting together here in the seventies. We must have laid down a whole layer of artifacts for future archeologists to find. My pocket knife is out there somewhere. Haahaa! It's the layer above the one the Indians put down when they socialized here hundreds of years earlier. Future archeologists may wonder why we quit going there. It may take them awhile to realize it's not that we quit going there, we just found a way to visit without leaving a trace. The campfire pit is still there and the old tree showing it's age. A painful reminder our visits here will end someday. Haahaa! I climbed up the hill only a small distance while remembering climbing all way long ago. As I turn to leave I find a Geocache! Crazy! Your supposed to use a GPS to play that game. .......hmmmmm maybe we are leaving a trace we were there after all? ..... Thumbs up to the people that have worked to preserve this awesome place!
