With the double jump, Alucard can visit the Clock Tower now. It's practically a recreation of stage 7 in Rondo of Blood. The Clock Tower is pretty tough, you might wonder what the benefit is of doing it before other easier areas...well, you'll gain more exp, of course, plus there are lots of goodies here that will help that you can grab early. 1:08- The Skull Lord drops a Skull Shield. The spell for this shield is sick! You'll see how handy it comes in later... 2:00- I use the jump kick on the skulls to get up to the treasures, Ice Mail, Shaman Shield, and Bekatowa. Very nice items. 2:39- Ugh, Medusa Heads! Also watch out for the water, it'll hurt Alucard at the time being. 3:10- See the tiny gears? There's four in all in the clock tower. Hit them all until they make a clicking sound to open up a secret room with Star Flail, Gold Mail, and Steel Helm. 5:27- Secret passage with lots of Flea Armors, watch out! At the top there's a Cloaked Knight, a tough guy for this point. He rarely drops the Heaven Sword, one of the best swords in the game. Nab the HP/Heart Max Ups here, and make sure to get all the map squares you can, there's a few easy to miss ones here. 9:00- I use Hellfire, another good spell. (Up, Down, Forward + Attack, like Richter and Maria's special moves). Hold Left or Right to teleport, hold up to fire two meteors, and hold down to just teleport and not attack. Also I get lucky and the Vandal Sword enemy drops a Holy Sword. 9:40- Secret room with Healing Mail. A nice armor if you do alot of walking, it heals you 1 HP per second when you're walking. 10:19- Room before the boss, has secret items on the ledges just like RoB.
