Ch. 14 Date: 2-19-09 Time: 4:54am Place: Sharons bedroom At Rise: Sharon is stressing out over her extra credit report Angel: Ok, lets try this again (typing on her lap top) Botany is the specific study of insects and spiders. Wait, thats not going to work, ugh!! Sharon: (wakes up from her scream) What the heck is wrong with you dont you know what time is it Angel: Man? (looks at the clock) Sharon: you should go back to sleep Angel: are you crazy? I cant. this report has to get done so you can turn it in today Sharon: I thought you said youre not going to worry about it Angel: yeah, but I need an A, B+s will not get me anywhere Sharon: man, and I thought I was always stressed out all the time, you need a life Angel: (grouchy) for your information, I do have a life Sharon: please, drowning yourself in extra credit assignment you dont even need to do is not a life. Trust me, when it comes to fun train, you are on a one way trip to Planet boring Angel: oh, shut up!! I may not be Ms. Exciting but when I comes to being serious, you couldnt touch me Sharon: I wouldnt want to touch you, dont want your boring itis Angel: oh, I hear it can be contagious, only stuck up airheads like you are the ones to catch it Sharon: Ughh (feeling hurt) Im going to bed!! (hides under the covers) Angel: make sure you when you close your eyes, remember to breathe Sharon: Ughhhh!! I cant take this (storms out of the room) (Angel heads downstairs in the living room and hears her mom and aunt in the kitchen talking. She ease dropped on their conversation) ********Ness and Victoria******** Vanessa: So, I talked to Angel about our situation Victoria: how did she respond? Vanessa: she seemed like she understood (slightly doubtful) Victoria: Well, thats a start Vanessa: I just feel like were not connecting like we use to. Before, we understood each other. We were still able to have fun and she still stayed behind the mother/ boundaries. Now, she just treats me like her maid Victoria: Well its just temporary Im sure Vanessa: I dont know, did I do the right thing with calling it off with Rick? Victoria: If it felt right to you, then it was the right thing Vanessa: I just hope Angel will one day understand Victoria: just give her some time, shell come around Vanessa: I sure hope so. I just wish that. Victoria: wish what? Dont hold back Vanessa: I just wish.. Angel was a little more like Sharon Victoria: look, you are my little sister; I told you that I would be there for you no matter what when you moved to New York. You are here now, make the best of it, shell come around when the time is right (Vanessa takes her sisters advice but is still upset. Victoria gives her a small hug and tries to make her feel better) Victoria: wait, how did we even get to you? I thought we came here for me? (starts to laugh) (they both laugh together and start to prepare breakfast) ****with Angel***** (Angel, feeling guilty, hurt, and neglected quickly runs up stairs back to Sharons room) Angel: (still mad) back so soon? Sharon: (being serious ignoring her tone) do you think I treat my mom like, uh, like a maid (fighting of tears) Angel: (not noticing her tears) well, she did talk to me, intending to talk to you, earlier about you being disrespectful Sharon: thats not what Im asking; (sniffs) do you think Im like that towards her, in your opinion? Angel: well, sort of, I see you always arguing with your mom and giving her a hard time. But I see why you do it sometimes (looks at her cousins sad face). Its your dad isnt it? Sharon: (quickly responding angrily) what do you know about my dad? Why is it any of your concern anyways? Why are you always in my business? Angel: You just asked, (giving up) forget it, good night Sharon (climbs into bed and turns off the light) (Angel climbs back into her bed and cries herself to sleep)
