Over 250 people attended the Senior Agenda Coalition's second annual conference which featured keynote speakers Janice Blanchard and Barbara Howard, as well as five morning and five afternoon workshops on Volunteerism, Social Activism, Fitness & Nutrition, Communities Without Walls, Lifelong Learning, National Health Care Reform, RI's Global Medicaid Waiver, and National and Community Service Programs (AmeriCorps, VISTA) and Peace Corps. Here Richard Bidwell, a long-time RI community activist, speaks about the justice and community.
