The thirtieth video I've made! (In which this is merely fan made, and thus I do not own the music or game used...) ...Can't think about much to say about this one, except that I LOVE this band. :3 In this instance, Noctis=Riku grown up, Lightening=Kairi grown up, Stella=Namine grown up. There's definitely a Riku/Namine feel going on here, so...summary time! Although the memory has faded, the dreams persisted. Flashes of the past they all had abruptly left behind. Sora was dead and Riku and Namine had fled, leaving Kairi all alone. For a time she didn't know why, but found answers in her own mind. Riku, their best friend, had killed her childhood love. (:00-:45) They grew up, and in faraway lands the darkness that hadn't been vanquished, as Sora had not sealed Kingdom Hearts away and defeated the Nobodies, had grown tremendously. Their previous enemies had long been gone by their own devices, but the scars they left remained. Riku had gained control of much of what the Nobodies and Heartless had claimed, and though best he tried to keep the peace, their was always squabbles over who had the right to rule. Kairi had grown bitter in her solitude, hate festering in her heart and manifesting itself as a red glow from her chest. She believed that the only way to be rid of it was to kill the man who had caused it. Riku knew Kairi would appear at some point, as Namine, who was still with him, had warned that the past was still out in the ocean, and would come to claim its revenge. (:46-1:16) Kairi went to go find where Riku was, facing many of the rebels and guard that got in her way, as Riku defended his title and his home, all the while his memories bearing a weight upon his shoulders. As Kairi finally arrived nearby to the battle waging, she saw Namine, standing in the road with her back turned. Kairi, filled with rage, felt something in the back of her heart, as if Sora was trying to tell her not to fight. But she ignored, raising a gun to shoot her. Perhaps revenge would be sweeter if she took away what was most important to him? But Namine turned to look at her, and her body was suddenly flooded with memories...the true ones. (1:17-2:28) Namine explained that Sora's death was an accident, caused by the Nobodies and their attempts to wipe his memories. She was so frightened and ashamed, but Riku had promised to protect her and ran away alongside her, someplace where no one would find them. As Kairi came to, she saw that Riku had found them, arming himself. Namine told him not to harm her, to which Kairi was surprise, but began to understand. What Sora and Kairi had was what Naime and Riku shared, and to tare them apart purposefully would bring out the worst of them all. So she left them, images of herself, Sora, Namine and Riku passing in her mind, letting her hatred and vengefulness go with the sunset she had watched with Sora so long ago. (2:29-3:02)
