Chapter 13 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I sit back down on the couch. It takes the boys a few minutes to get through all the girls, but finally Joe busts through the door followed by Kevin, Nick, Mr. Jonas and Ms. Denise, Frankie being held by Ms. Denise, Wesley, and lastly Big Rob. Joe, Nick, and Kevin sigh loudly and collapse around me. Nick to my right, Kevin to my left, and Joe on the floor in front of me. Mr. and Ms. Denise sit at the eating table, Frankie sits in Joes lap. Big Rob stands by the counter and Wesley starts to move the bus away from the screaming girls. Everybody seems worn out, nobody talks. I decide to break the silence for the second time with these people. "So how was the concert?" Nobody said anything at first. I think they were trying to figure out who was going to answer. Kevin spoke first. "It was fun. I always like performing in Kansas." Then Nick spoke. "And a fan got to come backstage." Joe turns around to face me, and smiles. "Her name was Anna." He said."She was pretty." Frankie said. "And well- mannered." Ms. Denise said. "And pretty." Frankie said again. I laughed at him. Mr. Jonas picks up my new soccer ball. "I dont remember seeing this before." He said. "Oh, its mine. I got it at Dicks." I said. Everybody looks at me except for Frankie, who has no idea whats going on. "The sporting goods store." I said, explaining. Everybody has a smile of relief. "Wait, when did you get it?" Ms. Denise said. "I won it in a contest about," I looked at my watch and did the math. "30 minutes ago." I finished. "You mean you left the bus?" Mr. Jonas said, giving me a look. "I just went across the street." I said. "Thats very dangerous and I advise you never to do it again without your father, Big Rob, or me with you. Do you understand?" Ms. Denise said, from her chair. "Yes maam. Im sorry." I said, then looked down. The bus stopped moving. "Ok we are at the bus." Big Rob said. Ms. Denise, Mr. Jonas, Frankie and Big Rob move towards the door. Ms. Denise comes up and hug me. "Its ok, I just dont want to lose my daughter again." She says. They leave. Joe picks up the soccer ball. "Who is Landon Donovan?" He asks me. I stand up. "A very, very, very famous, talented," I take the ball from his hand. "Soccer player." I finish and leave the room to go put my ball on my bed. "Oh." He said, dumbly. I come back in and sit in front of my laptop. I open it up and start going to my e- mail. "Whoa." Kevin says, and I look up to see what he is talking about. He is talking about my laptop. "Is that yours?" Nick asks. "Um, yea." I say. "Its slick, and awesome." Joe says. "Thanks." I said. I didnt like the attention. "What do you do on it?" Kevin asks. "Oh, you know, normal teenage girl stuff." I couldnt tell them my secret hacking talent. "Sweet, did you buy it?" Nick asks. "It was a gift for my thirteenth birthday." I say. "Awesome. OK, who wants to watch some TV?" Joe asks. He, Kevin, and Nick sit on the couch and Nick turns the TV on. The first words we hear are: Breaking News. A crazed fan climbed up the side of the Jonas Brothers tour bus earlier this afternoon. This made me look up from my oh- so- boring coupons I was getting in my e- mail. And there I was on TV. They had gotten a video of me climbing up the side of the tour bus. The TV person continued We later figured out from the local news that the same girl won a contest at Dicks Sporting Goods. Her contest entry form information told us her name is Cassidy Collins. And there I was accepting the ball from the you- are- so- lucky man. The person continued again. All we want to know is; will she be charged for breaking and entering? What did she see? And what was the Jonas Brothers reactions when they saw her? Im Lialen Gold with your news. I look over at the boys. Their mouths are hanging open. I sheepishly smile. "Whoa. You. Are. Awesome! And I am proud to call you my sister!" Joe says. Is this 4 of 4? He gets up and hugs me. "Thank you Joseph, but I cant breath." I say. "That is so cool how you climbed up the side of the bus." Nick says to me. "Thanks, it was no big deal." I say. I hear my computer go off, telling me I had a new e- mail. I walk over to the laptop and see its from Haley, who is obsessed with the Jonas Brothers. She has sent me a new video of the Jonas Brothers every day for the past two years. I usually delete them, but I decided not to delete them now and maybe I could learn something about them. E- Mail: OMG bestie! I just saw you on the news! I cant believe you went in the Jonas Brothers tour bus! What did you see? Attachment: OBSESSED FAN. yep there it was. The video of me climbing up the side of the bus. I replied back: Yea I did for you! I went to get a souvenir for you but it was just like a plain bus! Nothin cool! Sorry! - Cassidy. Wow, that was close.
