http://www.ntv.co.ke Listed telecoms operator Safaricom has announced a profit before tax of 9.1 billion shillings that was posted at the end of its half-year period ending 30th September. The profit is a 1.7 percent improvement over its performance over a similar period last year. Safaricoms Chief Executive Officer, Michael Joseph largely attributes the performance to strong growth in the companys money transfer and data service businesses.
