Yo's! Sorry I didn't post before..I had homework and it got in the way...my b. But I'm back:) 10 comments:) comment.rate.sub.fave.add.rate.SHARE. GET MY STORIES OUT THERE, PLEASE:) --- -Alex's POV- "Sooo...." I said slowly. "Sooo...what?" Mat asked. "What did you think of him?" I asked. "Oh, Joe? He's a chill dude. He's pretty cool, I guess." "Ha! I told you that you'd like him," I said. "Fine, you did," he said. I turned on my iPod on the dock and did my night routine (clean kitchen, shower, stretch, get ready for bed). I slid into bed next to Mat and started talking. "So, when are you leaving?" "In three days. I could only stay the weekend because I've got classes." "Awe, bummer." Mat laughed. "Well, that just means that we'd make these three days the AWESOMEST. DAYS. EVER." I felt my phone buzz. Great. I got a text. From Joe. -I guess the bro wasn't so bad after all. Sweet dreams, beautiful. Joe.- I instantly blushed. That was too cute. I put my phone on the nightstand and fell asleep to "Free Fallin.'" I woke up the next morning to snoring. Mat. I sighed and got up. There was no use in trying to wake him. I went into the living room and turned on the TV. I made my way to the kitchen and opened the fridge to look for something to eat. Then I realized...we could out to eat. Hmm, that's a good idea. Maybe an IHOP. I got my clothes out, and by the time I came out of the bathroom, Mat was just waking up. "Hey, sleepyhead," I said. "How can you manage to wake up so early?" he asked, rubbing his eyes. "I don't know. Get up. We're going out for breakfast, okay?" "Alex...it's NINE O'CLOCK." "Stop being a lazy bum and get up," I said, and pulled back the covers. He groaned and sat up. "Ugh, you were always the early bird." He's not lying. Back when we were both in school, I would be the one waking him up. Mat padded to the bathroom and I went back to watch TV. "I'm ready when you are," I said. "Yeah, yeah, okay." We didn't pull up to an IHOP until around 10:30. We came in and sat down. "So, see? Getting up early means pancakes," I said. "Yeah, okay, Al. Whatever you say," he replied, opening the menu. Then my phone buzzed. Joe. -Good morning, beautiful. We just landed a little while ago. It's really...cold. K2, Nick, and Frank says hi! Joe- I smiled and sent him a quick text back. "Let me guess...Joe." "Hmm, maybe. Mind your business." He laughed. "Whatever, Al. What are you getting?" "Eh, maybe an omelet. You?" "Nice...I'm getting the same thing." I nodded and we placed or orders. Mat sat back in his chair. "Sooo, how is it REALLY like living on your own?" I shrugged. "Um...it's okay. It's not bad. It's not that easy, but Im holding up. Does Mom know you came over?" Mat nodded. "Yeah, but she knew I was coming at some point. Alex, you should try talking to them." "Maybe I should. But will they talk to me?" "I don't know, but...you guys, you need to...settle this." I nodded. "Mat, I'm all up for that, but they are really mad at me." He shrugged. "Try to make things work. And maybe you could even try to visit them. I'm sure everyone misses us back home. We can go together." I raised my eyebrows. "That's a really good idea. But...I want to try to fix things before I go anywhere." Soon after that, our food came and we started to eat. "Yo, this omelet is HUGE," I said. "I know. It's great. Anything you don't want, I'll eat it," he said. "You eat too much," I said. "You eat too little. How much do you weigh?" "I don't know...maybe 130." "That's crazy." "Well, how much do you weigh?" I shot back. "190. Dude, I could bench press like, two of you, if not more." I continued eating. Whatever. I felt my phone buzz again. -Hey, Al! I heard you were up; I'm just saying hi! k2- I sent him a text back and then finished my omelet. "So, Mat...what do you want to do today?" I asked. "I don't know. What is there to do?" "Nothing I can think of, honestly," I said. He thought for a moment and then his eyes widened. "Al, look. I have money in savings. We should take this whole weekend and spend it...at Disneyland." My jaw must've dropped ten feet. "Mat, we can't do that. Are you insane?" "Uh...yeah. But I thought you knew that." I sighed. "Mat, I'm-" "Al, come on. We've gotta go. I wanna go, and I'm your guest," he said. I thought for a moment. "You have the money?" He nodded. "So...." I looked at him and smiled. "Let's do it." --- OH! I wish I could go to D-Land.
