Sammy Davis Jr sings I'll Be Glad When You're Dead You Rascal You and then shows off his hoofing talents in several clips from the 1933 movie "Rufus Jones for President" which starred Ethel Waters. Two clips of her songs from that movie are also on this channel. Davis was only 7 years old when he made his singing and acting debut in the movie as Rufus. In this film, which was produced for black audiences only, young Rufus has just been elected President. Its still a free country for now so guess I'll leave the comments open and wait for the inevitable comparisons to BO. - Have fun. Thanks to Turner Classics for preserving all these old movies.
