This is the final song from my one woman show called "American Survivor". It's pretty goofy, but so is the whole show, and so I think it serves as an appropriate grand finale for my first original play. My best friend from high school and I made the shark suit out of an old foam mattress cover, using good old fashioned needle and thread, as well as some spray paint and button eyes. It lives on still, here in NYC, somewhere in Manhattan mini storage! I created the movies playing behind me (during the whole show, actually) was made by me using 2 old school VCRs. I can't believe I actually got something watchable that way. The video playing of me in the red dress at the very end is the actual 3 minute video tape I submitted to CBS to try to get on the real TV show "Survivor" which was, of course, totally rejected. Thus, the impetus for the play!
