For those of you who didn't see my first video, I am planning on making an Abridged series of some anime and am currently casting for it. The possible animes are Dragonball/DBZ/DBGT, Yu Yu Hakisho, and Yu Gi Oh. If you are planning on auditioning, I would most prefer that you post your auditions as a video response, or at least post it on youtube as a private video and give me the link to it (although I prefer the former of the 2). Most basic movie editing software will allow you to redub a video, and you can download this video by plugging in the url of this video at www.clipnabber.com . If for whatever reason you are unable to do this, you can use a program to just record your voice (I believe "Audacity" is the name of one) and send me a private message for my email (although I MUCH prefer that you post it as a video). In the audition, I am looking for several things: voice quality (how well do the voices go with the characters--can you easily change your voice), voice differentiations (do all of your voices sound the same or do they sound different?), and the funniness of the lines you create (yes, I'm expecting you to write your own lines for the auditions--although if you are just auditioning for voice acting and not script writing or vice versa, I will understand, but let me know in the video that that is what you're doing--but I would much rather have you do both. Remember not everyone will get accepted--these are AUDITIONS. Please use all of the clips, or at least one from every anime posted, even if you don't like the anime--I want to see your voice range. Send me a message or leave a comment if you have any further questions. Deadline for auditions is Sunday, September 14th (although it could get extended if needed--contact me if you need an extension, but I will place priority on those who enter on time). Good luck to everyone! (p.s. don't tell me that I'm not being original--kinda hard to be original when basically every single anime has been redub 20 different times on YouTube). sorry about the cheesy music, I couldn't resist :D Avatar Abridged is no longer an option because Viacom blocks it :(
