I have a great story to share with you! It is not story, but reality. A dedicated young man is running this orphanage for the last 6 years, under severe conditions. But he never gave in. He adopts a few month-old babies to big kids and raises them in the orphanage. he has 30+ kids now. The orphange runs on the small contributions from kind-hearted local people. Local barber cuts the hair, local rice miller gives the rice, local doctor provides medical services. They go to local Saraswathi Sishu mandir school. They don't have proper shelter. The day I visited, in the "cold" Jan month, they are living in a make-shift house that has no windows. You will hear lot of kids coughing in the video. They took bath outside the house under public tap. Srinivas reddy is running this orphanage on his own with the help of his family. His mother stays in the orphanage and takes care of chores. I participated in the celebration of birthday of a little kid, who was adopted in the orphanage on Jan 4th. If you are interested to support this great orphanage, please contact "Palamoor NRI Forum" (www.palamoor.org) or email me (Ravi Mayreddy) at rmayreddy@gmail.com. Thanks for watching this video!
