Again, going at it with Beastmaster. This time, I only have my Tiger Familiar jug pet, and we're up against the final stage of the Adventuring Fellow quest- the Carrion Dragon. In case you're wondering- basic Windower plugins EXPwatch, TParty, LightLuggage, and InfoBar were used here. These do not enable unfair advantages. TParty uses averages and guesses to display what it thinks your party members' TP is, based on the number of hits they've landed and taken since it was directly known to be 0 (specifically, after a weaponskill or weapon change.) LightLuggage is probably the most controversial of them. It automatically stacks items in your inventory as you acquire them. Useful for forgetful adventurers like me, but really, not damaging to game balance in my opinion. EXPWatch simply displays your EXP, EXP to next level, approximate monsters to kill before the next level (assuming that the monsters in question will all provide the same EXP that the last one did,) approximate time to next level, approximate EXP per hour, and time passed since the last kill that gave EXP. It's useful only as a convenience tool- its functions could all be replicated with a calculator and some effort. But being moderately lazy as I am, I prefer to simply use the thing. EXPWatch is the bar on the bottom of the screen. InfoBar is useful for various reasons, none of which have anything to do with unbalancing information. Here's the description of its internal workings from the official page: "It includes a local database of information which can store notes on players, NPCs and monsters. This database also includes a monster database with levels, drops, etc. Currently the monster database is derived from FFXiclopedia." The information is displayed across the top of the screen. None of it is information that could not be found simply by searching a website such as FFXIclopedia or Allakhazam. It's basically the difference between having to switch windows to check that information and just having it available at the ready. No information on players can be displayed other than the name and user-provided notes. Legit plugins are legit. I have never used and will never use a program that gives me a truly unfair advantage over another player, be it a speedhack, a bot, a position hack, or a looting hack. Happy now?
