Crestview, Florida----One individual was taken by EMS to the North Okaloosa Medical Center after the truck he was a passenger in slammed into a power pole just south of the Sonny's Bar-B-Que on South Ferdon Boulevard around 4:30 Sunday afternoon. Heavy southbound weekend traffic had to be diverted for more than 3 hours while crews from Gulf Power, Okaloosa Gas, Embark, and Crestview Public Works repaired damage to their infrastructure at the scene.
