The Park View Little League Baseball Team of Chula Vista (San Diego), California, played against the Kuei-Shan Little League Team of Taoyeon, Taiwan (Chinese Taipai) in the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Park View beat Kuei-Shan by a score of 6 to 3 in the Sunday final game on August 30, 2009. The Chula Vista team broke the Little League World Series home run record by hitting 19 home runs during the games. But the Chula Vista team played fundamental small ball with no big-swing home runs during the final game. The Chula Vista team flew home on the following day on Monday to arrive at a Homecoming Rally with 9000 people at DeVore Stadium at Southwestern College in Chula Vista. Chula Vista is a city in the County of San Diego in Southern California. A parade is to held in their honor on the following Friday when it is expected that there will be lot more people cheering on the Park View Little League Baseball Team. The Park View Little League normally plays at the Park View Little League fields which are located at the 1200 block of Oleander Avenue in Chula Vista, Califonia. The Park View Little League is one of nine Little Leagues in the California District 42 Little League. The Kuei-Shan Little League is from Kuei-Shan Elementary School in Taoyuan, Taiwan (Chinese Taipei) according to the Taipei Economic & Cultural Office in San Francisco.
