The Dublin 3 piece Russell Keogh (Voice & feedback), Sean Kavanagh (Voice & Jangles), Ross OConnor (splintered snare skins) completed their first mini tour late last year including packed out shows at the Edinbrugh fringe festival and a triumphant finale in Dublins very own Crawdaddy with vigurous response coupled by over 300 plays a day of Blood red room on their mayspace site. 'Although 'Blood Red Room' is in thral to indie-dom, they add frsh elements to the standard mix, including stirring martial drums and spoken interjections, and still deliver a cool track - Hotpress For the dawn of this year they have knuckled down in the studio to sharpen and argue each track into a cache of bullets befitting their initial success. As the bright days of spring spill into the shadow of autum this year The Chapman Society will follow up with a second single, drenched in strings the melodically bursting Normal People will be on general release supported by an announcement of another tour of feedback & sweat soaked live shows plus various media events.
