I put the veto pen to nearly half a billion dollars in wasteful spending... You come out of something like that with scars also but its the right thing to do for the people who just hired you... We suspended our state fuel tax and were returning a chunk of our state surplus right back to the people of Alaska because its their money and they can spend it better than government can spend it for them we put our government back on the side of the people and we got back to basics and John and I will use that same common sense conservativism in Washington DC to reform our federal government and we will never forget that were accountable to you.
