The Corporate owned and controlled mainstream media is largely responsible for this phenomenon. Though some were purely ideological, and were clearly fearful of change, others became rational and amenable to the simple reason of fact when carefully explained. This conversation clearly demonstrates this point. I oppose the Baucus/Grassley Bill which is an Insurance Industry concoction of the worst order... This Senate Bill preferred by Rahm, is as deplorable morally and reprehensible ethically as are the "Corporatist" designs upon which it was authored.
