"Time to Stand" was written by Belleville's Phoebe Hunt as a tribute to Daniel Pearl, the American journalist (and violinist) who was kidnapped and murdered on tape in Karachi, Pakistan in 2002. In 2006 a committee headed by violinist/composer Mark OConnor awarded Ms Hunt the DANIEL PEARL MEMORIAL VIOLIN. She then wrote "Time to Stand" in honor of Daniel Pearl...."Time to Stand" is the title song to the Belleville Outfit's latest CD.
