This is a music video of sitar music by a good friend of mine Srinivas Koumounduri. I decided to go completely retro here, and opt for a LSD acid trip genre that was so popular in the 1960s. Some might consider this genre to be a bit passé, but it is always a fun genre in which to work, especially if one is an aging hippie like myself. The music was recorded in my studio during the fall of 2008, and editing of the audio proceeded in fits and starts up until April of 2009. The major share of the video was shot in Andhra Pradesh, India; in particular, Hyderabad, Secunderabad, Bhimavarm, Kaikaluru, and Akavidu were the locations for most of the shots. This was shot on different days running from about Feb 23 through March 18th. A few scenes were shot in Houston upon our return to the US in April. Everything was finally pulled together over a several day period ending on April 13, 2009.
