In recent days I got back to working on my magnetic motor research. As some of you may know, I have been playing around with the idea of using 4 to 6" long, heavy steel shielding plates on top of the stator magnet, but then angling the very end of the plate that faces the armature magnets at a slight angle. Because a magnet is drawn to the closest point of attraction, by tilting the steel plate, is a means to help accelerate the armature magnet past the shielded magnetic stator. However... Much to my surprise, this technique is SOooo effective in early testing that the results indicate that we can do away with the stator magnet. This works because the steel... 'runway plate' (a phrase I have coined here) ...is so effective, that the armature magnet rotates without the additional aid of a stator magnet. This wonderful acceleration is caused by the steel runway plate being just long enough to gain some much needed speed. This sudden acceleration transfers enough forward motion to the armature magnet as a direct result from the armature magnet being drawn to the closest point of the runway plate. Where the runway plate abruptly ends, the forward momentum of the armature is far greater than the counter attraction found at the end of the runway plate. We now have net gain. (The is awesome news!) This cause and effect generates forward momentum that is transferred to the armature magnet, easily sending it well past the end of the runway plate. More than far enough for the armature magnet to be attracted to the next runway plate in line. I have also discovered that the closer the stator magnets are to each other, the faster the acceleration . However... the more runway plates we add, the greater the torque. Number of Magnets = Speed Number of Runway Plates = Torque Speed + Torque = Usable Output. This news is... huge!! Don't take my word for it, try it yourself. Though I remain pressed for time, I wanted to get this update out to you 'would be' magnetic researchers right away. I will make a quick, crude demo showing how well this works as soon as possible. :) Cheers!
