THE NEXT DAY... AT THE DOCTORS... "Okay, now Courtney? Im going to need to you follow this light with your eyes." The doctor said taking out a light. I was sitting on those annoying plastic like cling wrap they put on those cushion things. I mean, isnt the point of the cushion to be comfortable? Why would you put something as irritating as that white stuff on there? Anyway, I looked over at Nick who was sitting there watching him take out the mini-flashlight. "Ehh..no offence doc," I started up, "But I dont have a vision problem. I just wanted to know whats going on with this eye color change." I said looking in the mirror and my bright blue eyes again. "Well," he said walking up, "Have you recently ...opened you eyes in something really hot or cold? Like under cold waters? Or in a fire?" My eyes widened. I looked at Nick and he looked at me. "W-well, youve seen the news about Mercy Hospital right down the block?" I said to the doctor. He nodded. "Oh indeed. It was all over on the media. Apparently a famous star Nick Jonas as a girl named Courtney De Luca got stuck a-an..Oh my goodness! Thats you two!" he said just realizing it now. "Yeah. So, continue with your evaluation. Yes, I was in a fire. So what?" The doctor started pacing. "Well, the high temperatures from the fire might have damaged your eyes. Your eyes probably wouldve changed this color anyway due to more than on color in your eyes. You had the brown iris, but now that the fire has sort of burned it out, your eyes are blue. There is a slight possibility they will change back though. Youre lucky! This is a very rare case! And be thankful it turned blue. I had a patient come in with red eyes because she kept opening her eyes under water. I wonder how she is...anyway, I want you to come back if you have any irritation in your eyes. If you do, this could lead to a serious problem. Give me a call." He said moving the stool to my feet so I could get off the cushion seat. Nick and I started walking. "Thats pretty weird." I said finally. "Yeah I know. Red eyes? That girls probably got everyone backing off from her!" Nick said smiling. "No, I mean with my eyesI didnt know they would eventually change this color. This shade of blue almost seems unnatural!" I said blinking harshly. "Dont worry. Everything will be okay." Nick said comforting me. We got on the tour bus. I saw Lena and Joe sitting next to each other listening to his i-pod together. Awww. Lena got up and so did Joe. "Hey...how was the doctors appointment?" Lena asked looking at my new bright blue eyes. "Good I guess, he said they changed due to the fires high temperature." I went to the mirror and looked at them again. "Thats pretty cool! Do you think if I jumped into freezing water, my eyes would turn like JUNGLE green?! Thats dangerous enough for DJ DANJAH! BACK UP! BACK UP! WHAT? OH YEAH RUN!" Joe was flopping around everywhere. He finally realized we were all staring at him. "...sorry." Joe said head down. Lena laughed and gave him a quick hug. "Its okay DJ Danger. Just dont do that again." She said laughing. I couldn't even tell if they were together. I guess the same thing was going through Joe's mind right now, because he spoke up. "Hey..Are you and Courtney like dating now?" Joe asked looking at Nick. Nick looked at me and I looked at him. "WelI I dont think we will be just yet." Nick said. I looked at him strangely. "Because were going home in three days and you know, she needs to talk to Tyler." Oh my gosh I totally forgot about him!
