"OUT OF THE DARKNESS IT WILL COME. BIG AS TWO CITY BLOCKS. WITH 700 LEGS, 5,000 EYES AND IT FEEDS ON ELECTRICITY. WHEN YOU SEE IT, YOU WILL NEVER FORGET IT" This is one of my all-time favorite commercials and joins the ranks along with other classics like Carpeteria, Zodys, Dial Chevrolet, the Norton Simon Museum with Candice Bergen, Cal Wothington (Ford, Dodge, etc) and other local SoCal commercials. This was from 1986 and in the era when Disneyland was Disneyland. Walt Disney World may have used the same ad, too. Disneyland was never the same after the Main Street Electrical Parade left in 1996. But now, the classic Parade is back and is GLOWing down the darkened streets of Disney's California Adventure since 2001. IMO, it belongs back in Disneyland's Main Street USA! ALL COPYRIGHTS ACKNOWLEDGED
