Ch. 14 Family by Family people started leaving. Then Lexi realizes its 10:00 PM. They are watching Step up 2. She and Nick are sitting on the couch next to Kristen. Joe and Jessie are on the other couch with Daniel and Adam. Kevins upstairs saying bye to Ali who is going to stay with her family while shes here. With Kevin and Ali Ali- Ill see you tomorrow! Kevin- Ill miss you! Ali- Ill miss you too! (They hug and Kevin kisses her forehead) He walks her to her car and waves goodbye. As he turns around he sees his family and the girls coming outside. Mrs. Jonas- Kevin Nick, Lexi and Joe are going to walk Kristen and Jessie home. Are you going too? Kevin- yea sure Mr. Jonas- meet us here ok Kevin- Ok The girls say bye to Mr. and Mrs. Jonas and Frankie and then they all start walking. Nick and Lexi are holding hands and walking with Kevin and Kristen. Joe and Jessie are walking a little bit ahead of them with Joes arm around Jessies waist. Kristen- I love your hair Kevin. (Lightly tugging on a curl) Its so curly. Kevin- Thanks. So Kristen what kind of music do you like? Kristen- Oh my gosh! I love music! I absolutely love The Cure, Queen, The Beatles, you know the oldies. Nick- I love The Beatles! Lexi- Me too! I love their songs! Theyre so catchy! Kevin- I know! My favorite is all you need is love! Nick- Mines Hey Jude Lexi- Mine too! Kristen- did you guys see across the universe? Nick- no not yet Lexi- Really? Its awesome! Youve got to see it! Kristen, do you remember when we all went to Rickys to surprise him for his b-day and we hid in his room? Kristen- Oh my gosh yea! His reaction was priceless! With Joe and Jessie Joe-Whats it like being back home? Jessie- Awesome! Its too bad about Lexis Tia though. Joe- yea. (Pause) Jessie? Jessie- yea? Joe- I love you. Jessie- (shocked) what? Why? Joe- why wouldnt I? Youre beautiful, talented, caring, and funny; the list goes on and on Jessie- oh (blushes) I love you too Joe. When they get to Jessie and Kristens street, Jessie says bye to Nick, Lexi, Kevin and Kristen. She and Joe walk up to her porch and Joe pulls her close to him and starts kissing her. All of a sudden the porch light turns on and the front door opens. Lexis dad comes out. Joe and Jessie spring apart. Jessies Dad- Who is this? What do you two think youre doing? Jessie- daddy this is Joe, my boyfriend. Js dad- what? Youre not allowed to date until your sixteen! Thats the rule! Jessie- but daddy! I am sixteen! Js dad- oh well. He didnt ask my permission! Joe- sir. I love your daughter. I want to be with her. Js dad- (shocked) what?!?! Joe- I love her and I hope you give me your permission to continue seeing her. Js dad- I dont know Ill have to think about it Jessie- Dad no! Please I love him! Dont make me wait! Joe- itll be fine Jessie Js dad- say goodbye Jessie- bye (she hugs him) Joe- bye (whispers in her ear) I love you! See you tomorrow He walks down the steps and heads towards Kristens house where the others are sitting on the porch talking. Nick- oh theres Joe. Whats wrong? Joe- Jessies dad caught us kissing and now he wont let us date until he gives us his permission. But I told him that I loved her and I would wait. Lexi and Kristen- Aww! How sweet! Kevin- Itll be alright! Youll still see her. Kristen- well good luck, I got to go! Bye guys! Nice meeting you! Nick, Kevin, Joe, and Lexi- bye They walk back to Lexis house and when they get there Joe and Kevin get in the car. Nick- (arms around Lexi) Are you okay? You look upset. Lexi- yea its just starting to sink in that shes gone (starts tearing up) Nick- youll be okay. (Looks up at the stars) shes probably watching you now. Lexi- (looks up) yea youre right. Thank you. Nick- for what? Lexi- for coming. I couldnt go through this without you Nick- youre welcome (Joe rolls down the window) Joe- NIIIIIIIIIIIIIICK! LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Nick- COMING! (To Lexi) see you tomorrow (kisses her) Lexi- okay bye Lexi walks inside and heads to her room to get some much needed sleep. Wat will happen to Joe and Jessie? Will Kevin and Ali stay together when Ali goes back to school after the tour is over? Arent Nick and Lexi so cute together? :] lol Read chapter 15 up soon!
