Check out part 1 first. http://beardownbacon.blogspot.com Football uniforms a are lot different from other sports teams uniforms. In football you have 11 guys out on the field in very close proximity to one another. If your uniform is to complex, the amount of people presented in the uniform will look like a jumbled mess. Also the field that they play on is extremely large so a bold uniform looks a lot better from a distance.
