This is from a Sept. 7, 2009 rebroadcast of when the Wonder Girls performed "Nobody" on the Wendy Williams Show which was originally broadcast on July 20, 2009. So this is a rerun, a repeat if you've already seen this from the original broadcast (and the numerous youtube uploads of that broadcast). The Wendy Williams Show is based in New York and the show is nationally syndicated on television stations throughout the U.S. I missed this tv performance during the first time when it was on, but caught it this time around since it was the Labor Day Holiday here in the U.S. and we had the TV on and I had my computer to record it. The broadcast that we received in the San Diego area had a tiny repetitive stutter to it towards the end and I had to edit out that tiny ding. Anyways, elsewhere in other Wonder Girls news, the Wonder Girls recently completed their tour with the Jonas Brothers. I think they had like 60+ stops on their tour stopping at cities around the United States, Canada, and Mexico. They were sending out tweets on Twitter as they were going from stop to stop while on their tour. And they recently came back from a promotional trip out to Cleveland for a Cleveland Indians major league baseball game where they sang that they wanted "Nobody" but "Nobody" but "Chu" (actually "You" with a korean accent) which sounds like the last name of korean baseball outfielder Shin Soo Choo who plays for the Cleveland Indians. The Cleveland Indians have been playing the Wonder Girls' "Nobody" song during daily batting practice where the song gives a boost to Shin Soo Choo's batting skills. Choo's american teammates have been teasing Choo that the "Nobody" song seems to sound like it is really about him. The girls are back in New York where they are suppose to be working on, or beginning to work on, their first full-length album (or maybe it's a mini-album) in english for the U.S. and that is expected to be released in October or November of this year. Even though they are managed by JYP Entertainment, I am wondering who will be their actual record label for distribution in the U.S. Will it continue to be an independent thing handled entirely by JYP Entertainment with mostly digital distribution plus CDs? Or will it be affiliated with a major U.S. record label like Hollywood Records since that is who the Jonas Brothers are with. If you look even a tiny bit at what the Wonder Girls are doing in the U.S., you can see that they were piggybacking off of the massive U.S. pop music machine that is the Jonas Brothers such as being with their tour and also doing pre-sales of the Wonder Girls album CD with the same company that sells merchandise and CDs for the Jonas Brothers. JYP himself does know quite a bit about the Amercian music industry, but it would be interesting to see what they do with what they've learned and networked with via their Jonas Brothers connections as the Wonder Girls seek to make their mark in the American Music Marketplace. As for more TV appearances in the U.S., I would *guess* that the next time when we may see the Wonder Girls on american television would be later in Fall 2009 when they would promoting their new album for the U.S. and also when it is *rumored* (and *not*confirmed*) that they may possibly be touring again in North America but this time with other music groups from their JYP music entertainment family. Credit to the Wonder Girls, JYP Entertainment, and the Wendy Williams Show. This is just one fan's report on the Wonder Girls where the "big" news today is that they appeared again on U.S. television even if it's only a repeat of a previous broadcast.
