Boscastle is a small village and fishing port on the north coast of Cornwall http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boscastle. In a steep valley, the old harbor is reached from the sea through a gap in a high, rocky headland. Two stone harbor walls, built in 1584, protect small fishing boats moored in the inner harbor from stormy seas. Since the National Trust owns land on both sides of the harbor, old Boscastle retains the classic view of a small Cornish port free of modern-day commercialism.
