Testing out a Ceriatone 50 watt "1987" lead circuit amp clone. I'm using a telecaster with handwound pickups, neck is 9k ohms, bridge is 10k ohms and pretty close to the strings. Volume is full up on the guitar , with a bit of tone rolled off, and on the neck pickup, unless indicated otherwise. Also, presence will be fully off on the amp due to the treble-y nature of my cabinet, which is an open-back 2x12 with Vox "Wharfdale" Speakers. There are 4 tests- 1. Testing out all four channels with tonestack on neutral. I will play some chords/riffs/licks to test out each channel. Begins at around :27 2. Testing all four channels with different settings. I play a song and then some licks for each channel, which I have adjusted the tonestack and volume for. Begins at around 3:00 3.Testing the Post Phase Inverter Master volume and it's how it affects the tone. The amp will be tested on 2,4,6,8, and 10. Begins at around 6:12 4. Loudness comparison between Vox AC-30 and 50 watt plexi. AC-30 at 7:23, Plexi at 8:35 notes- The camera I was using shut off if exposed to large amounts of volume for several seconds. I moved the camera about 20 feet away from the amp, and just let it record the front cover of a Calvin and Hobbes comic book. For the final test (Were the volumes were full up) I had to move the camera again, this time into a bathroom next to my room. The total footage was about 40 minutes and I edited it down by taking out spaces in the video with no playing, and the parts were I messed up. The added captions will tell you everything else, including settings. Please excuse the messy playing and possible typos. List of (parts of ) Songs played in order- Dazed and Confused You shook me Rock & roll Good times Bad times Black dog Traveling Riverside blues For your love (Played live at the Whiskey a go go) Babe I'm gonna leave you Thank you (BBC sessions)
