Amitabh Bachchan (October 11, 1942) Holds the record for most number of Best Actor nominations at the Filmfare Awards here in India. This is in dedication to the one of the BEST ACTORS this planet could ever have and will ever have in future. For people who don't understand Hindi and who consider themselves as great movie freeks (a very bad luck indeed for you all) because you all missed something in life watching and enjoying which 2 Billion other people have enjoyed watching. This was long due from my part to host some of this Legends works on my channel. I will host some of his works where different kinds of emotions are displayed and at its best like (happy, comedy, angry, funny, emotional, humour, sexy,) .... Ohhhh, you name it and he has given it all on the screen. His life is on the screen ! But recently after watching the way a person called Danny Boyle won so many Oscars for his film Slumdog Millionaire, I felt a bit kind of an angry, first of all for the title of the Movie SLUMDOG (which is for me like UNDER PRIVILAGED CHILDREN ABUSIVE TITLED MOVIE). So here is a dude who doesnt care for the under privileged childrens and by labeling them as Slum Dog's (DOG's OF THE SLUM -) and further portraying India (with a population of 1 Billion almost equivalent to the entire size of Europe with its own nice and not so nice characteristics on the whole as a nation) in a bad light and wins an Oscar. And to back him you have all the Western People dancing to this person's tune namely Danny Boyles. I have one question, can Danny Boyle's works be comparable any where near to any of these works of the people like Subhash Ghai, Priyadarshan, Fazil, Ramesh Sippy, Yash Chopra, Raj Kapoor, Mani Rathnam, Man Mohan Desai, Sathyajit Ray.....etc and the never ending list goes on. Then why is this big POM POM for Slumdog Millionaire ? I ask is this movie worth to win 8 Oscars. The maximum Oscar any film had won was Ben Hur (12). So it means that Slumdog Millionaire is 65% equivallent to Ben Hur ....... WOW, what a bloody crap ? Amitab Bachchan, Priyadarshan and like minded people have all opposed the kind of a unwanted, not worthy and useless publicity Danny Boyle is getting from this movie. The big problem with the Oscars is nothing but LANGUAGE PROBLEM hahahah ! Well, I am now pitting Amithab Bachchan against all these famous actors (Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan, Daniel Craig ... etc and Tom Cruise) and I will prove it to you all that Amithabh Bachchan still exceeds them far ahead in terms of acting if there has to be something a term called as a Universal or a Global Acting. (My due respect to all these above mentioned class apart actors who are all also my very favorite English Movie Actors) Now let me prove my point as to what I am trying to convey with my above mentioned statements. Let us take and for e.g ask all these famous actors to entertain a common man (irrespective of language barriers) SINGLE HANDEDLY in a Hindi movie (with financial and technological restrains) by doing like what Amithabh Bachchan does, and these famous actors will not be able meet the expectations standards, as far as Universal Acting is concerned. Just taking a gun and shooting bang bang with all the latest technologies and the kind of Money the West has cannot be considered as Global Acting. Now let us put the same scenario and we ask to ourselves by imagining about Amitabh Bachchan in performing in a James Bond Movie kind of a Movie in English. I will bet, he can give a run for their money. Now this is the difference between Amitabh Bachchan and all the other Global Actors. Amitabh Bachchan Ji, Sir, You don't need an Oscar kind of recognition when you are in the hearts of at least 2 BILLION PEOPLE, and literally speaking do we Indians need or deserve the very first Oscar recognition with an absolute crap movie called Slumdog Millionaire and in this manner? Please ask to yourself was this movie worth an Oscar. I personally feel A.R Rehman who is good at composing music got the award for composing his tunes to a wrong Childeren Abusive Titled Movie !!!. But my favorite will always be Illayaraja (for his classic contribution in melodious music with not much non techno instruments) to the South Indian Movies. With all my due respect to all my favorite Western Actors mentioned above, personally I feel that if there is one entertainer from the West and in more particular from the U.S.A who can be truly compared with Amitabh Bachchan, then it should be Bruce Springsteen. So according to me Amitabh Bachchan (Big B) and Bruce Springsteen (The Boss) are the two great down to earth and simple plain entertainers on this planet form two great democracies (India and USA) whos have the capacity of single handedly entertaining the masses. :-)
