Four Playwrights brought 30 roles onto the Venus Stage this year. 1. "Not Such Stuff" by chris wind (Canada): Regan (Tina Renay Fulp), Kate (Heather Whitpan), Juliet (Angela McLaughlin), Marina (Lisa Hill-Corley), Miranda (Tiffany Ford), Lady MacBeth (Joi Cheemeka Bradley), Ophelia (Julia Heynen), Portia (Carol Wilson). 2. "Homokay's Medea" by Julianne Homokay (Los Angeles, CA): Medea (Toni Rae Brotons), Jason (Christopher Mancusi), Kaylee (Bethany Lynn Corey), Jared (Dane C. Petersen), Manuel (Michael Burgtorf), Rosie (Rebecca Herron), Our Lady/Althea (Carol Wilson), Leon (Phil Amico), McKenzie (Jessica Wanamaker). 3. "Why'd Ya Make Me Wear This, Joe?" by Vanda (NYC): Grandma (Janey Richards), Emily (Georgia Mae Lively), Charlie (Brittany Graham), Aubra (Allyson Harkey), Joe (Christopher Herring), Philip (Dane C. Petersen). 4. "Helen of Sparta" by Jacob M. Appel (NYC): Helen (Julia Heynen), Oenone (Ellie Nicoll), Cassandra (Rebecca Herron), Laodamia (Mary Burke-Hueffiemier), Paris (D. Grant Cloyd), Menelaus (Christian Sullivan), Protesilaus (Phil Amico). All costumes designed by Brittany Graham. All dramaturgical work provided by Julia Heynen. Lighting design for Joe and Helen by Kristin Thompson, Set design for Medea, Joe, and Helen by Joseph Musumeci, Sound design for Joe by Neil McFadden, Properties for Medea by Janey Richards, Stage Management for Medea by Melissa Swain, Light Board Op for Joe by Christine Lively.
