http://www.myspace.com/punkempire It was MATT's idea to go see BLINK-182 perform in Vermont, which is close to Montreal. He said he'd try to interview them. Good idea. I couldn't go so he went with a friend. I have noticed that people have left mixed feedback concerning this interview. Like: Why does MATT ask MARK questions about SOUTH PARK and THE SIMPSONS, bad questions ! Well i have to disagree. I think the interview is actually interesting and not because i'm a SOUTH PARK fan, i'm not. The reason why i think it's good is because we are fans of BLINK. We are their core audience. We're not ROLLING STONE magazine, we're not SPIN magazine, we're not the NME or MOJO or UNCUT. We can ask whatever questions we feel like without any pressure or any risk from getting fired by our bosses. We don't have bosses. We are fans of BLINK-182, we already know what they stand for. If you don't know what they stand for, then go buy ROLLING STONE magazine. We're not doing an article in TIME magazine for people who never heard of BLINK-182 before. Let's face it, BLINK-182 are not the most serious band around, they're the complete opposite. They're the most unserious band around. The interview is on a friend to friend basis. That's what's great about the interview, i think. Not the questions, but the essence, the freedom. We were free. You're also free to like or dislike the interview. Isn't that great.
