The film is about a girl named Little Charlie after her Uncle Charlie. Uncle Charlie pays a visit to his sister living in a small town. The family welcomes him in their house especially Little Charlie who feels that she has a special bond with her uncle. Uncle Charlie starts acting rather oddly, responding seriously on some on-hand matters. When Little Charlie founds out what really is going on, she gets caught in a tangle whether to attain the happiness of her family or the justice of the law. This film was Alfred Hitchcock most favourite among others that he had directed. It is also my favorite. The film is set in a small town with a normal family. An antagonist steps in and silently threatens to break up a family. Psychologically riveting. This film plays with the human morals and their tangled minds. From the girl who falls upon a heavy burden, to an uncle who has to face his own niece for freedom, to the mother who works to help pay for the family and who struggles to forget her past, to a father who speaks of a perfect murder with his odd friend and lastly two children who doesn't seem to mind of the adult world but their own. This might not be the perfect tribute because I left some best scenes out. I recommend you to watch it because it is actually one of the most perfectly directed film from Alfred Hitchcock. ;) Song : Trouble by Coldplay
