Taken from his 1992 album "This Road" this is Australian Country music singer "James Blundell" with "Down On The Farm". Co-written by Blundell and his close friend "Billy Dean" the song is about Blundell's 1st love & the self realisation that, after spending time in the big city, life on a farm has its own simple values in terms of a place to simply grow up, relax and enjoy being with family. As for the "Bunyip Farm"... we just thought it would make a good theme song for our channel ;-) James Blundell (born December 8, 1964) is an Australian country music singer. Blundell's first album, in 1989, was a self-titled effort, followed up by "Hand It Down", which was released in the United States in 1990 following its success in Australia. Successive albums were This Road and Touch of Water. This Road included the hit "Way Out West", with Australian music legend James Reyne. Blundell's first works reflected his background as a jackaroo and his love of that life. "You won't make a profit on something that cannot be purchased but enough exposure may well help sell what you actually do have for sale. Meanwhile to share ones talents is the greatest of gifts!" * Please note that all videos uploaded to YouTube are format shifted by the host website from the original files. This can often cause picture & sound deterioration (i.e. mono audio) as well as the occasional video/audio synchronization issue. The files are also deliberately layered with logos &/or promotions on our end, in order to help prevent YouTube recycling by lazy up-loaders who like to take credit for other peoples hard work!
