I've loved this song ever since it was used during season 4 of Ally McBeal as Larry's song to Ally and it became their theme. It was recorded for the show, and on the soundtrack album "For once in my life", by Robert Downey Jr and resident singer Vonda Shepard. RD Jr does a great job esp for someone who is known as an actor not a singer. I have recently discovered the recording done by composer and rock legend Bob Seger with country star Martina McBride. This appears on the soundtrack album to the movie "Hope floats" (with Sandra Bullock), and to my knowledge the only other place it was ever released was on a Bob Seger collection album. A fantastic romantic duet criminally neglected I think, it deserves to be heard much wider. I hope I do it some justice here; obviously it was written as a duet for two different vocal tones so some key changes are inevitable. Let me know what you think!
