This is a 63-second video of three clips from episode 8 of the Tokyo Girls (Meet Tokyo Girl) reality TV show where "Dream Girl" by After School is used as the theme music in the beginning teaser and then in a flashback to the girls' previous performance to the "Dream Girl" music. And, since this is the final episode for the series, also included is a snippet clip of the episode's ending fade-out tag featuring Jang Dayun as the korean winner of the Tokyo Girls competition. The last few minutes of the episode, including the ending tag as shown here, originally had different music using "Love Will Show You Everything" by Jennifer Love Hewitt from her 2004 movie "If Only." It's a good sweet song, but I don't understand why they used that english-language song for a korean music competition TV show where the winner gets the opportunity to join the japanese Hello!Project music machine of girl idol groups. It's like K-Pop meets J-Pop meets the Ghost Whisperer (Jennifer Love Hewitt's tv show in the US). But so it goes - it's their song choice. Check out the actual episode if you want to see the last several minutes of the Tokyo Girls finale using the Jennifer Love Hewitt song that they selected as background music. For this short video, I changed the music in the clip of the ending tag to use what I feel is the more apropos "Dream Girl" music. Consider this video's last several seconds for the ending tag to be a slight criticism to how they edited the episode's ending segment. Why not use the "Dream Girl" music in the tag as the last touching moment since "Dream Girl" was used elsewhere in the series as a theme for the show? I guess they wanted a much slower thankful congratulatory song. Anyways, the song "Dream Girl" is a korean remake version of the japanese pop hit song of "Love Machine" by Morning Musume. 'Tokyo Girls' (aka 'Meet Tokyo Girl') is a reality TV show that is an audition contest in Korea where korean girls compete to become a part of Hello!Project in Japan. Other than revealing the winner of the show in the finale episode, another significant part of the episode is the girls' performance cover of "3,2,1 Breakin' Out" which, as diehard j-pop and musume fans know, is yet another one of the latest hit songs from Morning Musume. Go see the Tokyo Girls finale episode if you want to see that cover performance. The girls even do the Morning Musume dance routine for that song. FYI ON COMMENTS: Because of a recent FLAME WAR in the comments made by KawaiiProjects and other people on two of my other 'Tokyo Girls' videos, I am removing abusive vulgar comments and I am now approving all comments for all five of my 'Tokyo Girls' short-clip videos. The abusive comments by KawaiiProjects and other people were the typical immature adolescent vulgar my-country-is-better-than-your-country Japan-versus-Korea lame racist nonsense. If people would watch the actual FULL episodes of 'Tokyo Girls', you would see that the K-Pop girl contestants and the J-Pop members of Morning Musume, C-ute, and Berryz Koubou all got along and were happy to see each other. Diversity in Differences is Cool. But Discrimination and Racism are NOT cool. FYI, I like BOTH K-Pop and J-Pop. I like After School and the other K-Pop groups. And I like Morning Musume, BerryzK, C-ute, and the other J-Pop groups. If you think otherwise, then you are entitled to your opinion, but if you submit abusve comments, then you will be BLOCKED. Now, enough of that nonsense and have fun and just enjoy the video clips that I've edited and posted.
