This is an instrumental version of "Dhere Se Aaja". It is an homage to the late music director C. Ramchandran. "Dhere Se Aaja" appeared in the 1951 film "Albela". This film's music director was the late C. Ramchandra and featured what I feel was some of his finest work. This film stared Bhagwan, Geeta Bali. The lyrics to "Dheere Se Aaja" were written by Rajendra Krishan. The original song was sung by Lata Mangeshkar. All the music for this YouTube video was done in GarageBand. The key was transposed form the original F to C#; this was done to accommodate the dilruba. The live tracks were tabla and dilruba. The rest, including the santur, was MIDI keyboard / sampler.
