You can speed up your computer in many different ways. Two of these are Disk Cleanup and Disk Defragmenter. Disk Defragmenter: This tool rearranges the physical position of the files on your hard drive so the computer can access them faster. Go to Start - Run and type in dfrg.msc into the box. Click OK. The Disk Defragmenter will come up. Click on the drive you want to clean up. Click Analyze. After a few seconds, your computer's recommendation as to whether you should defragment your drive appears. On this box, click Defragment if you think it would help. Now you must wait a few hours. Disk Cleanup: This utility deletes unnecessary files on your computer. Nothing it deletes is important. Go to Start - Run and type cleanmgr into the box. Click OK. Choose the drive you want to clean up. If you're not sure, leave it the same. If you only have one drive, this step will be skipped. Now you must wait a few hours. When it is done, a box will be displayed showing you just how much space can be cleaned. Click OK. The files wil be cleaned. Please comment and rate.
